Payment Actions enable customers to make payments directly within a conversation using our payment webview.

How it works

Payments are generated using a code action, which functions similarly to a typical toolbelt feature.

For instance, you can use the code action to add a product created in Stripe. When a user initiates the code action, a webview or link is displayed. Opening the payments webview directs the user to a Stripe payment page.

Prerequisites

Stripe account

You must have a previously set up Stripe account.

API Keys

You must retrieve the API Keys from the Stripe dashboard.

Using with Messenger

Please ensure that your Stripe account is added to the list of allowed domains for your Messenger integration.

Using with Web widget

Please ensure that your Stripe account is added to the list of allowed domains in your Web widget integration.
