The Reply Converter in Flow provides an option to automate the conversion of the bot replies into channel-specific formats. Reply Converter reduces the manual effort of converting the bot replies with consistency and contextual relevant replies across various communication channels.
Flow makes it possible to convert the replies by mapping the payload, it ensures that your bot's responses are tailored for each platform, be it a messaging app, website chat, or any other channel. It also allows for channel-specific customizations, enabling you to fine-tune responses based on the unique characteristics of each platform.
For example, you can convert a Messenger Button Reply to a WhatsApp Button Reply and other replies, such as Button Replies to Quick Replies.
To convert Replies:
Click the menu option for the reply.
From the drop-down menu, click Convert.
From the Add to channel(s) drop-down menu, select channels.
You can choose multiple supported channels from the drop-down menu.
From the Convert to drop-down menu, select the format of the replies you want to convert to.
To perform reply conversion in bulk:
- In the flow tab, click Configuration.
- Click Design.
- Click the Convert tab.
- From the Add to channel(s) drop-down menu, select channels.
You can select multiple supported channels from the drop-down menu.
- From the From reply type drop-down menu, select the reply format you want to convert.
- From the To reply type drop-down menu, select the format of the replies you want to convert to.
- Click CONVERT.
