Knowledge Source: Terminology Overview

Terminology knowledge source is similar to the Q&A knowledge source. The main difference is how the information is fed to the Generative model.

Requirements

Terminology Source

  • Add "Terminology" Option: Introduce Terminology as a new option in the knowledge type dropdown.
  • Group Management: Users should be able to create and rename groups of knowledge sources for better management.
  • Menu Options:
    • Import Sheet: Allows users to import terminology from a sheet.
    • Import CSV File: Enables importing terminology from a CSV file.
    • Export to CSV File: Facilitates exporting terminology to a CSV file.
    • Duplicate: Useful for creating variations for different use cases.
  • Help Icon: A ? icon should open the documentation for terminology.
  • Search Function: Optionally, a search function in the header to search by term and definition.

Personas

  • Selection: Terminology is selectable in personas as a source like other knowledge types.

Handling Multiple Definitions

  • Multiple Rows: Add multiple rows for terms with different definitions for different contexts.

Linking Terminology to Knowledge Sources

  • Universal Terminology Use: Other knowledge sources in the same persona also use the terminology. For terms with multiple meanings, include all definitions.
