Metadata Visibility

To make working with metadata as easy as possible, Khoros has created the Metadata Visibility admin tool. This tool makes it possible for brands to configure visibility for each piece of metadata conveyed by the Brand Messenger Legacy (as well as other content sources) and made available in Khoros Response.

An administrator can set which metadata fields are visible to agents, and which ones are reserved for admin users only.

For example, an agent may not need to know a customer's browser version, but an admin could use this information to troubleshoot an issue. By hiding it from the agent, it allows the agent to more easily discover the metadata that matters most to their role.
