# Overview of Payment Actions

Payment Actions enable customers to make payments directly within a conversation using our payment webview.

# How it works

Payments are generated using a code action, which functions similarly to a typical [toolbelt](https://developer.khoros.com/khoros-flow/docs/toolbelt) feature.

For instance, you can use the code action to add a product created in [Stripe](https://stripe.com/). When a user initiates the code action, a webview or link is displayed. Opening the payments webview directs the user to a Stripe payment page.

# Prerequisites

## Stripe account

You must have a previously set up [Stripe](https://stripe.com/) account.

## API Keys

You must retrieve the [API Keys](https://stripe.com/docs/keys) from the Stripe [dashboard](https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys).

## Using with Messenger

Please ensure that your Stripe account is added to the list of allowed domains for your [Messenger](https://app.flow.ai) integration.

## Using with Web widget

Please ensure that your Stripe account is added to the list of allowed domains in your [Web widget](https://flow.ai/docs/integrations/web) integration.

# Other payment platforms

We have a closed beta of Braintree and SumUp providers. If you are interested, [contact us](https://community.khoros.com/category/supportcenter/kb/SupportInformation).
